The Lone Star Film Society is a non-profit organization.
As such we rely on sponsorship from corporate and private
sources. We have several levels to choose from:
Membership Levels and amenities:
Basic for one: $50.00 (Senior Citizen $40.00)
Basic members receive annual membership including free admission to all regularly scheduled screenings, workshops, and panels; advance e-mail notice and early and discounted ticket purchase to special events (including LSIFF 2008); discounted ticket purchases to events of partner organizations; discounts on all LSFS and LSIFF merchandise; one free LSFS t-shirts and 1 “Film Texas” car decals.
Basic plus second card (Basic benefits for two): $75.00 (Senior Citizens $65.00)
Dual card members receive annual membership including free admission for two to all regularly scheduled screenings, workshops, and panels; advance e-mail notice and early and discounted ticket purchase to special events (including LSIFF 2008); discounted ticket purchases to events of partner organizations; discounts on all LSFS and LSIFF merchandise; two free LSFS t-shirts and 2 “Film Texas” car decals.
Student/Faculty/Filmmaker for one: $25.00
Student/Faculty/Filmmaker members receive annual membership for two with all basic member benefits plus advance invitations to special industry panels and workshops; Requires student or faculty ID number. Filmmakers require LSFS filmmaker discount code.
Volunteer membership (aka the 20 for 20 membership) $20.00
Once a volunteer reaches 20 hours of volunteer hours in the current calendar year, they are eligible to purchase a membership for $20 for the calendar year they log their volunteer hours. Volunteer memberships receive annual membership including free admission to all regularly scheduled screenings, workshops, and panels; advance e-mail notice and early and discounted ticket purchase to special events (including LSIFF 2008); discounted ticket purchases to events of partner organizations; discounts on all LSFS and LSIFF merchandise; Requires hours to be verified by the LSFS volunteer coordinator and the LSFS volunteer discount code.
Friends of the Society: $100.00
Friends receive annual membership with basic benefits for two as well as quarterly recognition in programs and newsletters (if desired).
Sustainer: $250.00
Sustainers receive annual membership including: Free admission and reserved seating for two to all regularly scheduled screenings, workshops, and panels; advance email notice and early and discounted ticket purchase to special events (including LSIFF 2008); discounted ticket prices to partner organization events; discounts on all LSFS and LSIFF merchandise; 2 LSFS t-shirts; 2 “Film Texas” decals; year round recognition in programs and newsletters (if desired).
Enthusiast: $1,000.00 to $2,499.00 (Please enter amount)
Enthusiasts receive annual membership including: Free admission and reserved seating for four to all regular scheduled screenings, workshops, and panels; advance e-mail notice and early ticket purchase for special events (including LSIFF 2008); all other basic member benefits; 2 LSFS –shirts; 2 “Film Texas” decals; invitations to private gatherings to celebrate film series and visiting filmmakers; two tickets to the LSFS Annual Gala or a $500.00 discount on a table purchase; year round recognition in programs and newsletters (if desired); two premium tickets for all premieres.
