DENNIS BISHOP, FESTIVAL DIRECTOR
As a Producer, Dennis has overseen commercially successful and award winning productions for feature and television distribution including Horton Foote’s Academy Award winning The Trip to Bountiful; MGM/Showtime’s Inherit the Wind, TNT’s Two for Texas and NASCAR: The IMAX 3D Experience for IMAX/Warner Brothers. He Executive Produced films including Disney’s Houseguest and The Big Green and Paramount’s The Evening Star. As a Production Executive he oversaw the production of Universal Pictures’ The Fast and the Furious. While at HBO Pictures, as the VP of Production, Dennis oversaw 27 movies that won 51 major awards. His latest television productions are the critically acclaimed, Dexter for Showtime and Cane for CBS. He continues to participate on industry committees and panels including the Directors Guild of America, the Producers Guild of America and the American Film Market. He serves as Co-Chair of the FilmUSA Committee at the PGA, and was appointed to the Runaway Advisory Committee of the California Film Commission to draft tax incentive legislation for California. Dennis splits his time between Fort Worth, TX and Santa Monica, CA.

JOHN STORM, MANAGING DIRECTOR
John has only recently moved from being a veteran from both the US Army and US Air Force to being a veteran from both the Lone Star and AFI Dallas International Film Festivals. He had the proud distinction to serve with the US Army’s Presidential Escort for both Presidents Clinton and Bush. After being honorably discharged from the US Air Force as an Intelligence Officer in 2007, he was hired to serve as the Director of Operations for the Lone Star International Film Festival 2007. After a stint as a Production Coordinator for AFI Dallas, he was promoted to LSFS’s Managing Director in 2008. John is a proud graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Marketing and has a Master’s Degree in Management from Troy University in Alabama. John also serves as a guest lecturer at the prestigious Neeley School of Business at Fort Worth’s Texas Christian University.

ALEC JHANGIANI, DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMING AND DEVELOPMENT
After running a successful small business in Austin, Alec returned to Fort Worth and worked as a substitute teacher in between extended stays in India and Mexico. In 2006, Alec met writer/director Terrence Malick and began to assist in casting for Malick’s upcoming feature production Tree of Life while gaining experience on set of another Austin based production, Gary the Tennis Coach. Alec returned to Fort Worth in the spring of 2007 to serve as the Programming Director for LSIFF07. Since November 2007, Alec has returned to Austin to work on Tree of Life during its production stages, as well as serving as the Jury Coordinator for the AFI Dallas International Film Festival. Now back in Fort Worth full time, Alec is ready to put Fort Worth and LSIFF 08 in the national film spotlight. A native of Fort Worth, Alec graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy.

STEPHANIE BARRON, OFFICE MANAGER/FESTIVAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
Stephanie first began working with Lone Star in late August of 2007. She has since been a part of 2 film festivals to include both Lone Star International Film Festival 2007 and AFI Dallas International Film Festival 2008. She currently serves as the Office Coordinator for the Lone Star Film Society, and is currently in production on LSIFF 2008, and has found it to be incredibly rewarding and fun. She is proud to be a Fort Worth native, and continues to serve within the Fort Worth Community as part of the FWISD as the Parent Teacher Association Vice President for Nash Elementary School. She has been married for 7 years and has 1 son.

KELLEY LOYD, COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR
Kelley started with The Lone Star Film Society in the summer of 2007 as the Volunteer Coordinator and has now progressed into the Community Relations position. The Lone Star International Film Festival 2008 will be the third film festival that Kelley has had the opportunity to help produce. She is honored to be involved with an event that will bring a different aspect of art culture to Fort Worth and is excited to see the response that the city will have. Kelley is originally from San Antonio and currently resides in Fort Worth with her dog, Buckley. She is a graduate from Texas State University at San Marcos with a degree in Photography.

ANGELA MONTGOMERY, DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Angela, our newest staff member, began working for the Lone Star Film Society in March of 2008. A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Angela has been in the non-profit field for over seven years. Angela moved to Fairhope, Alabama in 2001 where she became Programs Director, and later served as Executive Director, for the Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF), a non-profit environmental conservation organization. Angela has continued her commitment to education initiatives with the Lone Star Film Society, her knowledge and experience in the non-profit community provide an invaluable resource to the team. Angela graduated from Sweet Briar College where she double majored in Biology and Environmental Studies and minored in Mathematical Science. In her spare time Angela enjoys training and riding horses. Angela is happily married to her husband of four years, Joey.
